Horse Agistment
 The
VEC is now offering a revised quality agistment package
with private and semi-private paddock accommodation. Our
capable staff provide 24 hour professional supervision
of your horse. Private paddocks are harrowed weekly and
semi private are harrowed fortnightly. Agisters have
access to the stable complex including tie-ups and wash
bay, canteen facilities and a private locked tack room.
When clubs are not running, agisters have access to:
- a full sized indoor riding arena;
- two outdoor ménages; and
- jumping equipment.
The indoor and one outdoor arena can be floodlit for
riding in the evening. Riders must finish by 9:30 p.m.
as the Centre lights are turned off at 10:00 p.m..
During club sessions one outdoor ménage and jumping
equipment is normally free.

- All horses are wormed by the VEC staff
and
a small cost will be added to your agistment
bill.
- If you require an extra feed for you
horse, this can be arranged for $2.50 extra
per feed.
- Should you wish to agist a second horse
at the VEC, there will be a 10% discount on
the agistment rate for both horses.
- If required, Stabling by night with a
private paddock during day will be available
for $100.00 per week, on an ongoing basis or
for limited periods when needed.
- Basic hard feed (Lucerne chaff, Oaten
chaff and Calm Performer grain) and grass hay are
provided by the VEC. Other types of feed
are to be provided by the agister.
- All paddocks have safe electric fencing
and automatic water.
